Need Dental Work but Don't Have all the Funds?

The Dental Grants Program provides you with the opportunity to pay less for implants, basic and cosmetic dentistry services.

Thanks to participating dentists, and a commitment on your part, you can qualify for a Dental Grant that will reduce the cost of your dental work by a minimum of 25%, and up to 30%, depending on your procedure.

There are no claim forms to fill out or reimbursement payments to wait for and since the Grant comes from the dentist, it is automatically deducted up front from the cost of your treatment.

Healthy individuals with a positive outlook and realistic expectations are ideal candidates to participate in this program. Learn More

Payment Plans

Need help paying for the part of your treatment that's not covered by the Grant? Combine your Dental Grant with an installment plan to get all the financial help you need.

  • Can I use dental insurance in combination with the Grant?
You can combine your employer insurance with the dental grant for maximum savings. Your dentist will apply your grant, and the insurance will be applied toward the remaining amount. Please note: Dental Grants cannot be used in combination with Government Sponsored Health Programs that provide coverage for dental services. We may still refer you to a local dentist however the Grant will not apply.
  • Do all Dentists charge the same?
Yes and No. While many dentists charge similar rates based on their fee guide, some dentists may take a 'wait-and-see approach' and others may take a more aggressive approach which could affect the upfront cost of a treatment plan. There could also be price variances based on the types of materials used by the dentist. The patient's own medical history, oral hygiene status as well as their likelihood of following a treatment plan can also influence a dentist's decisions and therefore his or her fees.
  • Do participating Dentists inflate their fees?
Of course not. Dentists that participate in our program do not increase their fees when quoting prices to Grant Applicants. In fact, you are welcome to attend at a non-participating dentist to obtain a competing quote before or after attending at a participating dentist for your assessment. If the competing quote is higher, speak to your Program Consultant to find out why, or to learn what we can do to help.
  • Is there a fee to apply?
No, there is no fee to apply at any time for a Dental Grant.
  • How much can I qualify for?
You can qualify for up to 30% of the cost of your treatment plan. The current Grant Payment Guide is as follows: Treatment Plan Cost: $500 - $25,000 Grant: 25% Treatment Plan Cost: $25,001 + Grant: 30%
  • Can I go to any dentist?
No. Your dental work must be completed by a dentist that is part of our program.
  • Do I have to pay back the Dental Grant?
No, grant funds are free and do not need to be repaid.
  • What Procedures are Covered?
Most Cosmetic Dentistry Procedures are covered, as are basic dentistry procedures such as fillings and extractions, provided the basic dentistry procedure is incidental to the Cosmetic Dentistry Procedure. For full details, ask your Program Consultant.
  • Can I use Grant funds for general dentistry?
Yes, provided the general dentistry is incidental to the cosmetic dental work being done.
  • Which Dentist will provide my free consultation?
Once we learn what kind of dental work you want done, we will refer you to a dentist that is within close proximity to your home that provides the kind of dental work you need.
  • Can I get a Competing Quote from another Dentist?
Yes. Even though most dentists charge similar rates for the same kind of dental work, your best interests come first so we will work hard to make sure your Grant gets applied toward a treatment plan from a participating dentist that is the same cost as any other quote you receive, provided the quote is based on the same kind of dental work being performed and the same kind of materials being used.
  • Why Should I Apply for a Dental Grant?
It all starts with wanting to have your smile reflect the confident person you truly are. The likelihood of committing to a cosmetic treatment plan that will help you achieve your personal goals and enhance your self confidence becomes more attainable with a Dental Grant.
  • Is the Dental Program only meant for people that cannot afford a dentist?
Of course not. Dental Grants are typically for people that need dental work anyway, but want the benefit of a financial bridge to do it now. Having a healthy, beautiful smile is a common goal shared by most people.
  • Who Applies for a Dental Grant?
People from all socio-economic backgrounds take advantage of the Dental Grant, and many apply for different reasons. Here are 6 Common Reasons people wish to improve on their smile.
  • How do I Qualify as a Candidate?
To determine your eligibility, you will need to attend for a free consultation at a Participating Dental Practitioner in our program. (The dentist will charge a fee for the examination and x-rays - ask for details) Following completion of your consultation, the dental practitioner will make certain recommendations and can provide you with a treatment plan that sets out a clear path for achieving your desired results.
  • How / when are Dental Grants Awarded?
Dental Grants are deducted up front from the cost of your dental treatment.
  • How does the Process Work?
    1. An applicant submits a request for funds at our website. 2. The applicant’s information is confirmed by a representative of our Organization. 3. An appointment is booked for the applicant to attend at a participating dentist for a free consultation. 4. The participating dentist provides the applicant with a treatment plan which includes the cost to complete the dental work. 5. The Patient Advocate confirms the final cost of the treatment plan and the exact amount of the Dental Grant. 6. If the applicant is satisfied with the treatment plan and Grant amount, he/she must make satisfactory arrangements to pay the amount not covered by the Grant, and may then begin treatment.
  • Can I apply more than once?
No, you may only apply once.
  • How is the Program Funded?
